Risk Disclosure
Last updated 16 September 2026
Ledgerr records and copies trading. It does not make trading safe, and nothing here should be read as advice.
1. Trading Carries Risk
Trading leveraged instruments — foreign exchange, contracts for difference, futures, indices and cryptocurrencies among them — carries a high risk of loss. Leverage magnifies losses as readily as gains, and you can lose more than your initial deposit with some brokers. Do not trade money you cannot afford to lose.
2. We Do Not Give Advice
Ledgerr is a record-keeping and execution-copying tool. Nothing in the app, on this website, in a statistic, a score or a share card is investment advice, a recommendation, or an invitation to trade. We are not a broker, not a financial adviser and not a portfolio manager, and we hold none of your funds.
3. Past Performance Says Nothing About the Future
Every figure Ledgerr shows describes trades that already closed. A win rate, a profit factor or a score index is a description of history, not a forecast. A strategy that produced a good month can produce a worse one with no warning and no explanation.
4. Copy Trading Concentrates Risk
- A follower account takes on the decisions of the source account, including the bad ones.
- A multiplier is a position-sizing decision. Doubling size doubles the loss as exactly as it doubles the gain.
- Fills happen at each broker’s own price, so a copied trade may enter or exit worse than the source did.
- Latency, connectivity, rejected orders and instrument differences between brokers can all cause a copied position to differ from the original.
- A source account you do not control can change strategy, raise risk or stop trading at any time.
You choose which accounts to link and at what size, and you carry the consequences on the destination account.
5. Technology Fails
Internet connections drop, terminals close, brokers go offline, APIs rate-limit and servers restart. We build for continuity — deals are claimed once so nothing is copied twice, and deploys hand the engine over rather than interrupting it — but no software can guarantee that every order reaches every account at every moment.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Check that automated trading and copy trading are permitted by your broker or prop firm before you use the Trade Engine.
- Make sure trading the instruments you connect is legal where you live.
- Size positions according to your own risk tolerance, not the source account’s.
- Monitor your accounts. A copier is not a substitute for supervision.
