Analytics and the Calendar

Every figure in the app is defined here, so a number you disagree with can be checked rather than argued with.

Ranges

The dashboard runs on a range: this week, this month, this year or all time. Everything on the page — totals, rates, charts — is computed from the closed trades inside that range. Open positions are excluded until they close.

The Headline Figures

Net P&LSum of realised profit and loss on closed trades in the range, after commission and swap.
Total tradesClosed trades in the range, with the count of those that closed shown underneath.
Win rateWinning trades over all closed trades, as a percentage.
Profit factorGross profit divided by gross loss. Above 1 means the winners paid for the losers. With no losing trade it is unbounded.

Balance and Drawdown

The balance chart plots cumulative P&L oldest to newest, with the running peak behind it. The gap between the two lines is your drawdown from peak, which is the figure that decides whether a strategy is survivable rather than merely profitable.

Weekdays and Sessions

  • Win rate by weekday covers Monday to Friday. Profit and loss are drawn as two bars from zero so they compare directly.
  • Session win rates are based on when each trade opened.
  • A trade opened while two sessions overlap counts toward both, because it traded in both.

The Score Index

Seven measures, each scored from 0 to 100, describing how healthy the trading is rather than how profitable it was. They are plotted together so a lopsided shape is visible at a glance.

ConsistencyHow little of your profit leans on a single best day. Spread profit scores high; one heroic day scores low.
CalmarNet result against the deepest drawdown along the way. Three times drawdown is full marks.
Win rateYour win rate, scaled.
RRAverage realised R multiple where trades carry one, otherwise average win over average loss. 3R is full marks.
Daily returnThe average day against the average size of a day, so it reads the same on a small account as a large one. 50 is flat.
SL usageShare of trades that went in with a stop loss attached.
TradesActivity per week since your first close. Ten a week is full marks.

Scores are not a grade

A low activity score on a swing-trading account is not a problem. Read the shape, not the total: the measures that matter are the ones your own strategy claims to be good at.

The Calendar

Each day is painted by its net P&L, with the day’s trade count beneath it, and each week totals down the right side. Green days and red days are counted for the month above the grid, which is the quickest honest summary of a month there is.

On Smaller Screens

Below 1100px the calendar switches to square cells and can be swiped week by week, showing a slice of the neighbouring weeks so you keep your place.
